Brandon KrainesBrandon Kraines is a youn rising Los Angeles-based director with a far-reaching body of work. Having graduated from Tulane University. Brandon Kraines loves surfing almost as much as he loves making peope laugh. In a thriving career, Brandon has directed commercials, music videos, short documentaries and web viral campaigns for well-respected clients and global brands, including Time Warner, Amway, Activision and Mitsubishi. Consequently, Brandon has rapidly become recognized as an up-and-coming helmer in the world of advertising. in 2007, he solidified that rcognition by winning the Gold ADDY and Best of Show award at the Amercican Advertising Federation's annual competition for his Suave Shampoo spot "Catch." He also took home a Sliver ADDY for his Bud Light spot "aldies Room.". After partnering up with ibeatyou.com, Brandon has since directed and wrote some their most watched viral content, including "The Stare Down" with Adam Sandler, "Lip Dub" featuring Jesisica Alba and Fomany Malco, and "Step Brothers" starring NBA superstars Steve Nash and Baron Davis. All became overnight web sensations. In 2008, Brandon Kraines' hilarious "Hands Free" viral was viewed millions of times on the hompages of MySpace, FunnyorDie, Break.com and CNN.com - and was broadcast on CNN domestically and internationally. His most recent online viral PSA stars Jessica Alba and Hayden Panettiere for Norman Lear's Declare Yourself. Kraines also directed a series of high profile celebrity-drivin online PSA's in 2008 fro U.S. Campaign for Burma starring Jason Biggs, Kim Kardashian, Stenev Seagal and Damian Marley. Although known for his comedic irreverence, Brandon recently wrapped his documentary, Mistreated Minds, which offers a provocative look into the Mental Health crisis in the U.S. prison system.
